What is Childhood Experiences and Resilience Workshop?
How does our childhood affect our adult reactions and relationships?
Do our childhood schemas support or hinder us in stressful times? Our workshop is a psychoeducational group study in which we seek answers to these questions from the perspective of Schema Therapy and Resilience.
In the workshop with the participants, we will try to understand how our cognitive schemas, which were founded in childhood and are still alive today, affect our reactions in challenging and stressful situations. We will cover both theoretical knowledge and try to shed light on our own psychological resilience with various applications.
Who can join?
Anyone who wants to explore their own cognitive schema and resilience can participate. It is a psychoeducational study specially designed for adults. It will be held with a limited number of participants.
At the end of the workshop, participants:
As they learn about basic cognitive schemas, they explore how their own schemas affect their resilience. They deal with the patterns of emotions, thoughts and behaviors that support or force them in traumatic processes.
